What drops, what rolls, and how far a single piece can be pushed.
Armor and weapon random stats both roll up to 19.99%. A max-roll piece is genuinely rare, which is exactly why the hunt has a point.
Enhancement is capped at +9. The cap is a hard ceiling, not a soft one, so nobody out-scales the field with luck alone.
The Xuanwu and Tianwu series are the two weapon lines currently unlocked. Both are farmable — neither is behind a paywall.
The B-Grade Rock (Pan Shi) set is the current armor tier. Build into it, refine it, and it will carry you to the level cap.

Current hunting grounds and how drops scale across them.
The Laboratory is open and running without the Hulk encounter. It is the primary progression map on the server right now.
The base drop rate applies everywhere, but higher-level maps roll better. Pushing into content slightly above your level is the fastest honest way to gear up.
Parties cap at 12 players. Full parties clear boss content far faster than solo play, and the server is built expecting you to group.

A route from first login to the level cap.
Open the starter items before you leave the first map. The permanent pet, cards and backpack change how the early game feels.
Every class reaches the top. Pick the one whose rhythm you enjoy and put your skill points into a single coherent build.
Group content out-earns solo grinding at almost every level band. Find a party early — it is also how you find a school worth fighting for.
Enhancement is capped, so there is a finish line. Push your main pieces toward it instead of spreading attempts across gear you will replace.
War is the endgame. Once you are geared, the only ranking that matters is the one your school shares.
